The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, CI/CD, optimization, and configuration management. We seek a well-rounded professional with Azure experience who can seamlessly apply technical and communication skills to advance data solutions and drive strategic success.Location: Across Canada, Across US (Hybrid) - Preference to SoCalStatus: Full-Time, PermanentResponsibilitiesAnalyze the current state and identify/document gaps between the current state and business requirementsWork closely with stakeholders to understand business processes and refine business requirementsContribute towards technical presales efforts, shaping cloud strategy and solution proposalsDefine the future state solution architecture, ensuring it meets security, availability, and business needsDevelop and define future state data architecture and models aligned with business objectivesOutline high-level steps, plans, and resource requirements necessary to achieve the future stateComplete customer-required specifications for requirements, architecture,



and design to secure solution approval from all stakeholdersEstablish governance processes to ensure the effective adoption and maintenance of solutionsDevelop and enforce best practices for consistent development, implementation, and maintenance of solutionsLead and manage teams through the entire solution development and delivery lifecycleMaintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on progress, challenges, and changesEffectively manage and resolve issues that arise during the solution life cycleInvestigate and resolve complex challenges that block developer progressionStay informed about the latest technology developments and maintain a "trusted advisor" role with stakeholdersEstimate software and service pricing related to solution design and implementationTechnical Communication: Capably explain technical projects and their business impact to management and non-technical stakeholdersConduct assessments, identify bottlenecks and gaps in infrastructure, recommend improvements, and implement changesQualifications, Skills & ExperienceFormal education in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fieldsA minimum of 8 years of experience in a Data Engineering or Data Architect role, demonstrating deep technical knowledge and leadership in data solutionsPractical experience with SQL, including writing statements, creating, and managing stored procedures, optimizing indexing, partitioning, distribution strategies, and implementing basic security measuresA minimum of 5 years of experience in data modeling,
