About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to serve as its most senior public servant and chief executive. The CAO will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the Executive Leadership Team, ensuring the effective execution of the organization's vision, and overseeing the enterprise-wide operations and financial stewardship of the municipal administration. This role involves close collaboration with City Council, employees, unions, Indigenous Nations, regional partners, other government entities, businesses, and the community to champion innovation, organizational excellence, and collaboration. The ideal candidate will be a trusted,



values-driven leader with a distinguished record of C-suite leadership, exceptional political acuity, and a proven ability to lead transformational change while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate for the CAO position at the company will have a diverse background, with experience in large, complex, multi-disciplinary organizations, and a preference for those with a background in publicly accountable environments, particularly municipal government or similar public sector entities.
