About the job: Network Architect - BilingualSoftware International (SI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune (phone hidden) companies to small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US.We are currently looking for a Network Architect – Bilingual for our client, a global leader in the IT infrastructure consulting and management industry.Location: Remote, Montreal, QCEmployment Type: 6 months to start but this is an indefinite, long-term contractRequired Start Date: ASAPTotal Hours Approved Per Role: 40h/weekRate/Salary: $100/hr – some flexibility on final rate based on overall experienceSummaryAs a Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure that the network is secure, reliable, and meets the needs of the client's business.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement network architecture for the company, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into network solutions.Develop and maintain network security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems.Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for network improvements.Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams,
