We are looking for an experienced Combine operator for the upcoming harvest season. We harvest Fall Rye, Wheat, Canola, and Corn across acres from Wellwood, Shilo, and Rivers.We run John Deere X9 (gen5 screens) combines with gps and machine sync with the grain carts.Duties include:Perform daily maintenance (oil check, inspect belts, bearings, tires, headers)Be able to do any minor repairs as neededMonitor and maintain grain quality,



moisture and yield throughout the dayWork long hours and weekends during harvestTransport equipment safely while towing headers as neededCommunicate and assist with other co-workers on a daily basisKeeping a clean cab and windowsQualificationsExperience operating harvest equipment along with other various farm machineryGps experience ( john deere is an asset)Basic mechanical skillsAttention to detail and safetyAble to work independently and along side othersValid class 5 drivers license (class 1 would be an assetWe have a Full Service Campground that is just a walk from our main shop yard at Wellwood.Our season starts with Rye around the 2nd week of August and carries on with wheat and canola throughout august and September.
