Reporting to the Senior Manager, Foundation Accounting and Reconciliation, you will play a key role in financial reporting for our Foundation partners by overseeing the day-to-day foundation accounting operation and annual audits. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with various teams both internal and external and make a significant contribution to our company's success.What You'll DoOversee quarterly and annual financial statement preparation in alignment with local GAAP requirements for global Foundation partnersEnsure team adherence to all financial reporting deadlines across dedicated foundation entitiesManage general ledger activities, review entries,
and refine internal controls for account reconciliationsLead budget vs actual analysis and donation trend reporting for multiple entitiesExpand financial reporting to provide timely, meaningful insights for Foundation trustee board meetingsServe as the main point of contact for external auditors and coordinate annual audit timing and compliance reportingCollaborate cross-functionally with Financial Operations, Financial Systems, Tax, and Operations to optimize ERP workflows and donation cyclesLead workflow process improvements and special projects to elevate foundation financial reportingMentor, coach, and empower a high-performing accounting team while guiding annual goals and professional growthWhat You'll Bring8+ years of experience leading, mentoring, and retaining high-performing accounting teamsActive CPA designation in good standing with a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field10+ years of post-designation experience, including direct work with external auditors and key stakeholdersStrong working knowledge of ASNPO and US GAAP (international non-profit reporting is an asset)Proven track record in financial management reporting, process efficiency, and internal controlsGrowth mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and continuous learningAbility to guide teams through complex, competing priorities while maintaining focus on core business goalsLeadership approach grounded in Benevity's values: humility, accountability, authenticity, adaptability, passion, innovation, and impactExcellent communication, analytical,
