OverviewOur client has an immediate opening for an Electrical Design Engineer. Degree or Diploma preferred, as well as a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Automation and Robotics industry. AutoCAD Electrical is a must. Position is based out of our office in Burlington, Ontario.Work ScheduleRegular full-time working hours consist of 40 hours per week, Mon. – Fri., and are determined by the departmental supervisors to meet organizational demands. Overtime may be required on a project-to-project basis.TravelPosition will require some traveling (Canada, US and Mexico). Valid passport and driver license are required.RequirementsYou will be part of the Electrical design / estimating department, implement standards, develop, and expand on the current library.Responsible for the design of Electrical systems and devices using AutoCAD ElectricalDeveloping and maintaining custom and standard designsEnsure designs meet industry standards and government/local code regulationsPrepare technical documentation and user manualsDeveloping recent standards and equipmentSpecifying purchased and manufactured equipment from outside suppliers.
