Each employee plays an essential role in shaping a workplace where safety is embedded in every action we take, and where incidents are prevented before they happen.How you'll make an impactThis vacant Cutting Line Operator role in our Stacked Core department is responsible for accurately cutting steel into various strip widths for transformer core assembly, based on customer specifications and internal quality standards.



This hands‐on role includes loading steel coils onto the decoiler, feeding steel by hand, programming cut widths, performing quality inspections to ensure precise measurements, and ensuring proper material handling.Hourly rate:$25.43 per hour, plus shift premiumPlease note this role is a continental rotating shift (11-12 hour shifts rotating between days and nights).Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate and monitor cutting machines to cut materials into specified dimensionsLoad and unload coils safely and make necessary machine adjustments for optimal performanceRead and interpret work orders to cut steel strips accurately using various machine control and programming softwarePerform regular quality inspections during the cutting process, ensuring all measurements and tolerances meet customer and company standardsComplete and maintain accurate records, including work orders, measurement sheets, production reports, quality control forms, OEE dataUse precision measuring tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers,



and tape measures; convert between measurement units as neededConduct basic troubleshooting of machines and workflow issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivityOperate overhead cranes safely to handle and position materialsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and safety standardsWorking continental day and night shift rotationsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED/CAEC) required; technical or vocationaltraining preferred3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment requiredPrior experience setting up, operating and troubleshooting Cutting, Slitting, CNCmachinery or related equipment requiredPossess basic knowledge of programming softwareBasic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematicsFamiliarity with production equipment and safety standardsGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityBasic math and measurement skills (e.G., using vernier caliper, micrometers, Allan Key, tape measurer or rulers); ability to convert measurementsStrong attention to detail and quality controlAbility to work independently or in a team environmentAbility to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasksGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenOrganized and able to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environmentAs a fulltime permanent employee, you would receive:Shift PremiumCompetitive health and dental benefitsProduction Bonus planRetirement savings program with company matched pension planJFE Shoji Power does not accept agency resumes and is not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited resumes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
