The role of Senior Water Resources Engineer will provide you with the prospect to:Engage with clients, colleagues, and suppliers on environmentally focused field programs and design solutionsConduct hydrological and hydraulic analysis including flood mapping, water balance analysis,



and hydraulic modellingIncorporate climate change resiliency in hydrological and hydraulic analysisSupport mine water management design and optimizationBuild client rapport as projects progress from feasibility through to mine closureCoordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate water management systems into overall design and operationPrepare technical reports, proposals, and other documentation related to water resources engineeringRequirementWe are looking for a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our Vancouver-based engineering team to work on local and international mining and resource projects. Your experience will be applied to the planning, investigation, assessment, design, and construction of tailings and water dams and waste storage for mining. Career development can be managed to support personal preferences such as niche, technical design specialists, or project participation in both technical dam engineering scopes and project management, or all-round engineering specialists.A degree in civil engineering: a master's degree is considered an asset15+ years' civil design experience related to surface water controls (preferably for mining or related industries), with a track record of continued developmentYou must be eligible to register as professional engineer in CanadaExperience in hydrotechnical designs analyses (e.G., water balance, open channel flow,
