This role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of complex engineered equipment and material deliveries across multiple projects. The successful candidate will bring robust leadership, advanced expediting expertise, and a proactive, risk‑focused approach to supply chain execution.Work ConditionsEdmonton Home Office based schedule. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.ResponsibilitiesLead expediting activities across multiple complex equipment packages and project scopesProvide mentorship and guidance to junior expeditors and project procurement team membersEstablish expediting priorities aligned with overall project critical path and construction sequencingInterface with project leadership to proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risksLead vendor kick‑off meetings and set clear expectations for schedule, documentation, and deliverablesDrive vendor accountability through proactive communication and performance monitoringEscalate and resolve critical supplier delays, non‑conformances,
and risk itemsBuild and maintain strategic supplier relationships to support long‑term project successMonitor and analyze vendor progress against contractual schedulesIdentify potential schedule impacts early and develop mitigation strategiesLead expediting‑related reporting including risk registers and recovery plansCoordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Document Control, QA/QC, and Construction teamsSupport Buyers during bid, evaluation, and award phases with expediting inputEnsure timely submission and return of vendor documentationCollaborate with logistics and site teams to align shipping releasesOversee expediting reports highlighting critical issues and actionsAnalyze trends and recommend improvements to expediting processesQualifications5–10+ years of expediting or procurement experience in EPC/EPF projectsDemonstrated experience expediting complex engineered equipment packages (mechanical, piping, E&I, process systems)Proven ability to manage supplier performance and resolve critical delivery challengesExperience leading vendor meetings and influencing cross‑functional teamsFamiliarity with document control systems (Aconex preferred)Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferredAble to communicate, understand, express, and apply basic technical, business, or administrative conceptsAbility to work with and maintain relationships with multiple levels of management#J-18808-Ljbffr
