The company’s primary goal is to responsibly leverage its operating platform and high-quality brownfield and greenfield exploration pipeline to build a growing, value-driven gold producer. The mine site offers a tight-knit, hands-on environment where team members work closely together, take pride in the operation, and can quickly see the impact of their contributions. Located a short drive from Wawa, the mine is set in a scenic, quiet forest setting with a strong camp environment, excellent food, sauna/gym, recreation room, and opportunities to stay connected with family and friends. Responsibilities Oversee underground mining development and production activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of ore to the mill in line with weekly, monthly, and budget plans. Lead execution of short-, medium-, and long-term underground mine production plans aligned with operational and business objectives. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production performance against targets and KPIs, adjusting schedules as required to address constraints. Coordinate underground loading, hauling, development, ore control, ore blending, and alignment between underground production and mill feed requirements. Champion a strong safety culture focused on zero harm and ensure compliance with Ontario mining regulations, company policies, and site procedures. Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, corrective actions, and adherence to safe work practices, SOPs, and underground operational standards. Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors,

superintendents, and underground production teams while establishing clear expectations and accountability across shifts. Optimize underground mobile equipment utilization and availability in partnership with maintenance and engineering teams. Manage underground mining production costs in alignment with budget targets, cost-per-tonne objectives, and operating input consumption. Work with geology, engineering, and survey teams to support grade control, minimize dilution and ore loss, and maintain consistent mill feed quality. Prepare and present operational reports, monitor KPIs, participate in audits and inspections, and support continuous improvement initiatives across underground operations. Requirements Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering, or significant years of relevant underground mining operational experience. Minimum 10–15 years of underground mining experience, preferably within underground gold mining operations. Minimum 5 years in a leadership or management role within underground mining. Strong understanding of underground mining methods, mine planning execution, ventilation, ground control, and production processes. Proven ability to safely deliver production targets, optimize operational performance, and lead high-performing teams in a dynamic mining environment. Strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, operational discipline, and continuous improvement. Supervisory or leadership development training would be considered an asset. What We Offer Our Client offers a comprehensive and competitive total compensation package, along with the opportunity to join a close-knit, high-performing team at a well-established Canadian underground gold operation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
