Become a critical player at AltaLink as a Real Time Systems Analyst I/II. This full-time position supports the Energy Management System with a focus on high availability and system reliability.
Located in Calgary, this role requires a blend of technical skills and proactive problem-solving to maintain AltaLink’s mission-critical systems. You will ensure the Control Center's seamless operation while collaborating on software upgrades, troubleshooting SCADA issues, and maintaining infrastructure integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Energy Management System and related infrastructure
• Apply new software and upgrade existing systems
• Troubleshoot EMS/SCADA issues with technicians




• Monitor system performance and implement improvements
• Conduct scheduled standby duties for 24/7 support
Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in IT, Telecom, or related field
• Minimum one year of experience in an EMS/data center
• Experience with high availability mission critical systems
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and cyber security
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
