Salary Range: $43.127-$53.735/hrReporting to the Manager of Respiratory Therapy, the Registered Respiratory Therapist works at all times within an interprofessional model of care. Respiratory Therapists provide respiratory therapy service 24/7 to patients in the many Intensive Care Units, Trauma Room, Emergency Department, wards and the Ross Tilley Burn Centre.They Are Responsible For (but Not Limited To)Ventilation management - weaning and discontinuationPerforming as a member of Code Teams, Trauma Teams and Rapid Response TeamsPerforming airway management including intubations and tracheostomy tube insertionsDelivering respiratory care where requiredSupervision,



education and evaluation of students assigned by the Clinical CoordinatorQualifications/SkillsCurrent registration with the College of Respiratory Therapy of Ontario (CRTO)Degree/Diploma from an accredited Respiratory Therapy ProgramMust hold current certification in BCLSPrevious experience in Acute Care and Critical Care environmentsThoroughly familiar with and competent in all aspects of Respiratory TherapyDemonstrated clinical and technical abilityMature, independent and self-motivatedDemonstrated ability to integrate and apply critical thinking skillsDemonstrated ability to handle stressful environmentStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsEffective communication skillsCommitment to personal and qualified developmentProven ability to work well in a team environmentExcellent attendance record #J-18808-Ljbffr
