Contract Length: 1 yearSchedule: Monday - FridayPosition SummaryOur client is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Advisor to support the design, testing, and deployment of the Procure-to-Pay workstream. This role serves as a senior independent advisor to business stakeholders, helping bridge current-state business processes with future-state Oracle Fusion capabilities.The successful candidate will provide strategic business process and solution guidance, facilitate design discussions, validate proposed solutions, identify risks and gaps, and ensure business requirements are clearly understood and appropriately addressed. Working closely with business leads, subject matter experts (SMEs), system integrator resources, Solution Architects, and program leadership, this role will strengthen solution understanding, reduce rework, enhance knowledge transfer, and support successful adoption of Oracle Fusion.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Process Design & Solution AdvisoryAct as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders throughout the Oracle Fusion implementation lifecycle.Facilitate current-state and future-state process discussions, helping stakeholders understand Oracle Fusion leading practices and standard capabilities.Challenge existing assumptions and identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, automation, and operational improvement.Validate proposed solution designs against business requirements and operational needs.Evaluate design trade-offs and contribute to recommendations regarding process design, solution architecture, integrations, and business readiness decisions.Support alignment between business objectives and Oracle Fusion capabilities.Deliver end-to-end solution walkthroughs and process education sessions for business stakeholders.Explain how Oracle Fusion modules, integrations, and boundary applications interact within the overall solution landscape.Facilitate effective knowledge transfer between the System Integrator and business teams.Identify areas requiring additional clarification, business engagement,
or design review to ensure stakeholder understanding and alignment.Design Governance & Risk ManagementProactively identify risks related to solution design, requirements, business readiness, testing, adoption, and process changes.Help minimize rework and downstream implementation risks by ensuring design decisions are thoroughly understood, validated, and governed before configuration activities proceed.Support governance activities including requirements management, fit-gap analysis, key design decisions, solution reviews, and leadership escalations.Monitor emerging issues and recommend mitigation strategies.Stakeholder EngagementDevelop strong working relationships with business leaders, SMEs, project teams, Solution Architects, system integrator resources, and program leadership.Facilitate workshops and collaborative working sessions involving both business and technical stakeholders.Translate complex technical concepts into explicit business language.Escalate critical risks, issues, and decisions requiring leadership attention.Testing & Business Readiness SupportSupport System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution activities.Review test scenarios and validate business process coverage and expected business outcomes.Support business readiness, organizational change management, and adoption efforts.Increase stakeholder confidence in the future-state Oracle Fusion solution and implementation approach.Required Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 10 years of experience in Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, ERP delivery, or business transformation roles.Minimum 5 years of Oracle Fusion implementation experience, with deep expertise in Procure-to-Pay processes,
including:ProcurementRequisitionAccounts PayableReceivingInventory-related processesProven experience leading or supporting large-scale ERP implementations.Experience working directly with System Integrators, business stakeholders, Solution Architects, and cross-functional project teams.Demonstrated experience facilitating:Business process design workshopsFit-gap assessmentsSolution reviewsTesting preparation and executionDeployment planning activitiesBusiness readiness initiativesStrong understanding of:Integrated business processesCross-functional process impactsERP leading practicesRequirements traceabilityChange management and user adoption considerationsPreferred QualificationsExperience with:Oracle Fusion Procurement CloudPrevious experience with PeopleSoft and/or JD Edwards (JDE).Experience within utility, energy, midstream, or other regulated industry environments.Strong business process analysis and design capabilities.Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities.Strong executive presentation and communication skills.Ability to influence without direct authority.Ability to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced, complex environment.Experience operating within multi-vendor delivery and implementation teams.Ability to balance business requirements with practical delivery constraints and timelines.Success MeasuresSuccess in this role will be demonstrated through:Improved business understanding of the end-to-end Oracle Fusion solution.Higher quality and faster business design decision-making.Reduced solution ambiguity and fewer unresolved design issues.Strong alignment between business requirements and solution design.Reduced rework and implementation risk through effective upstream decision-making and governance.Increased confidence among P2P stakeholders regarding the future-state solution and implementation approach.Successful support of testing, readiness, and adoption activities leading to a successful Oracle Fusion deployment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
