Senior BIS Project Manager (Consultant or Contract employees)Location: Montreal, QC or Toronto, ONWork Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day per week onsite in Ville Saint-Laurent or as required)Remote: Candidates located anywhere in Canada will be considered, provided they can travel to the office when required.Contract Duration: ASAP – December 31, 2026Hours: 40 hours per weekTravel: No travel required for consultants based in MontrealLanguages: Bilingual – English and French (mandatory)About the OpportunityOur client is seeking an experienced Senior BIS Project Manager to lead strategic enterprise IT initiatives supporting business transformation across multiple corporate functions and supply chain operations. This consultant will oversee the complete project lifecycle while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.Working within a PMO environment, you will collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and external partners to successfully deliver complex technology projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead large-scale IT projects and programs from initiation through implementation and transition to operations.Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, governance models, and resource strategies.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, on budget, and to the required quality standards.Define project KPIs and provide regular executive reporting on project performance.Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies while implementing effective mitigation strategies.Contribute to business case development and provide recommendations regarding project launch, continuation, expansion, or closure.Manage project financials and monitor budgets throughout the project lifecycle.Collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and external vendors.Facilitate workshops, design sessions, solution reviews,



and stakeholder meetings.Manage vendor deliverables, contractual commitments, and service level expectations.Ensure compliance with PMO governance, methodologies, and documentation standards.Coordinate testing activities, deployment planning, production cutover, hypercare, and transition to support teams.Work closely with Organizational Change Management (OCM) teams to support communications, training, business readiness, and user adoption.Coordinate data migration activities with Data Management teams.Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, business leaders, and third-party partners.Required QualificationsProject Management ExperienceMinimum of 7 years of experience managing enterprise IT projects (10+ years is considered a strong asset).Proven experience managing large-scale IT initiatives within complex corporate or global organizations.Experience delivering multiple concurrent projects involving cross-functional teams.Strong background leading projects across Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics, and Distribution.Experience managing vendors, implementation partners, and offshore/nearshore resources.Strong knowledge of project governance, RAID logs, executive reporting, financial management, and PMO best practices.Experience supporting testing (Unit, Integration, UAT), deployment, cutover,



and hypercare activities.PMP certification is considered an asset.Technical ExpertiseExperience managing enterprise application implementations including:SAP S/4HANASAP AribaSAP GTSSAP Suite applicationsERP platformsWarehouse Management Systems (WMS)Transportation Management Systems (TMS)Supply Chain Planning (SCP)Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)Additional assets include experience with:SAP Cloud and On-Premise environmentsAWS or other Cloud platformsBusiness Intelligence and Data Warehouse technologiesMicrosoft Project OnlineETL/Data MigrationOrganizational Change Management (OCM)Application Delivery and Operational SupportBusiness & Functional KnowledgeStrong understanding of Supply Chain and Operations business processes.Business process mapping and continuous process improvement.Vendor and contract management, including RFP and RFI processes.Financial management of IT projects.Data-driven decision making using KPIs and project metrics.Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Leadership & CommunicationExcellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work effectively with executives, business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors.Experience working within matrix organizations and global delivery environments.Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.What We're Looking ForThe ideal consultant is:Highly organized and detail oriented.Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment.Able to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Strong in documentation, reporting, and executive communications.Adaptable and capable of working independently within a complex global organization.EducationBachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.PMP certification or equivalent is considered an asset. #J-18808-Ljbffr
