Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have:Master Terraform to automate the provisioning of Snowflake and AWS accounts and resources; Develop and configure a multi-account Snowflake infrastructure including data sharing mechanisms; Implement and configure Snowflake's native business intelligence features according to design specifications; Design aggregated exposure views without personal information and validation mechanisms before sharing; Implement the analytical account RBAC model, including functional roles, access profiles and integration with identity management solutions; Configure network security controls and access policies; Maintain infrastructure as code covering accounts, roles, network policies, data warehouses, and monitoring mechanisms; Develop validation and audit pipelines for residual personal information detection, usage tracking, and consumption alerts; Collaborate with architectural and security stakeholders on the design of technical solutions; Perform code reviews, optimize performance, and support releases; Document configurations, deployment processes, and operational procedures; Actively participate in the team's Agile activities.QualificationsHave a minimum of five (5) years of experience in data engineering within a large organization; Possess a minimum of two (2) years of significant experience with Snowflake in administration or development; Have a SnowPro Core or Advanced certification, or commit to obtaining it within the first six months; Have a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related field; Proficient in multi-account Snowflake administration, data sharing, advanced RBAC, network policies,
and consumption monitoring mechanisms; Be familiar with Snowflake security mechanisms, including per-row access policies, dynamic data masking, aggregation policies, and object labeling; Demonstrate experience with Snowflake Cortex (Analyst, Search or Intelligence) or a strong ability to adopt native AI features; Master advancedSQL, including views, stored procedures, streams, tasks, and complex aggregations; Experience withAWS, including IAM, VPC, PrivateLink, and CloudWatch in a Snowflake context; Understand secure network architectures, including segmentation, PrivateLink, and DNS; Develop automation solutions using Python; Use DevOps tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Vault, and CI/CD pipelines; Apply data governance principles, including data classification, cataloging, and lineage; Demonstrate a good understanding of automated testing, application security, and CI/CD practices; Work effectively in an Agile framework such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban; Adopt solid coding, documentation, code review, and quality assurance practices; Knowledge of dbt for SQL transformations and template management (an asset); Proficiency in Snowflake Organizations multi-account management concepts (an asset); Use self-service analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau integrated with Snowflake (an asset); Understand the FinOps principles related to Snowflake cost optimization (an asset); Knowledge of data testing frameworks (an asset); Experience in aregulated environment, including banking, insurance, or government (an asset); Demonstrate rigor, autonomy, a strong collaborative spirit and an approach focused on safety, quality and complex problem solving. #J-18808-Ljbffr
