This role ensures accurate, timely payroll processing while designing competitive, cost-effective benefits that support employee well‐being and organizational goals.Your Focus in this RolePayroll LeadershipOversee end-to-end payroll operations for all employees (province/multi-state)Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including wages, bonuses, commissions,
and deductionsMaintain compliance with federal, provincial/state, and local payroll regulations and tax lawsManage payroll systems, audits, reporting, and reconciliationsLead payroll-related year-end activities (e.G., tax forms such as T4s, W-2s)Develop and implement payroll policies, controls, and process improvementsBenefits Strategy & AdministrationImplement, and manage employee benefits programs (health, dental, retirement, disability, wellness, etc.)Evaluate and benchmark benefits offerings to remain competitiveLead annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processesManage relationships with brokers, vendors, and insurance providersMonitor benefits costs and develop cost‐containment strategiesEnsure compliance with applicable benefits regulations (e.G., ERISA, ACA, or Canadian equivalents)Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with all payroll and benefits laws and regulationsStay current on legislative changes and adjust programs accordinglyLead internal and external audits related to payroll and benefitsMaintain accurate records and reportingLeadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and develop payroll and benefits team membersSet goals, manage performance, and foster a high‐performance cultureCollaborate with HR, Finance,
