Through these activities, you will be involved in business decisions and process improvement, providing financial insights that directly influence business performance and strategic decision-making. This role offers exposure to operational leadership and senior management while contributing to initiatives that drive business value and continuous improvement.What You Will DoSupport annual planning process developing the financial plan for a major operating segmentUtilize financial models, scenario analysis,



and business cases to support strategic initiatives and decision makingIndependently analyze financial results for insights to understand key business eventsContribute to recurring financial reporting activities, including oil and gas reporting and external disclosuresMonitor key financial metrics and challenge assumptions providing recommendationsDrive initiatives that improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and decision-making capabilitiesEnable continuous enhancement and process improvement through dashboards and analytical toolsPartner in special projects, strategic analysis, and ad hoc requests from senior leadershipAbout YouRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.10+ years of progressive finance / accounting experienceAnalytical thinking and problem -solving ability to synthesize financial data into business insightsExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skillsCapability to manage multiple monthly priorities and deadlinesKnowledge of Microsoft office applications such as Excel and PowerPointPreferred QualificationsCertified Public Accountant (CPA) designationExperience with accounting systems like SAP and analytic tools such as Power BI or other intelligence toolsComfortable working independently and continuous improvement mindsetPrevious experience within the oil & gas industry is preferredYour BenefitsAn Imperial career is one designed to last.
