About the role

PointClickCare is on the lookout for a Senior Application Engineer who will play a pivotal role in crafting and deploying AI-enhanced solutions utilizing Salesforce Agentforce. This position is centered around developing intelligent agents and automating workflows that will transform our internal systems and elevate operational efficiency. You will work closely with various teams to prototype, test, and roll out scalable applications within our enterprise framework.

What you’ll do

- Design and implement AI agents leveraging Agentforce and tools like Microsoft Studio for CoPilot to enhance operational capabilities.
- Develop intelligent process automation solutions using platforms such as Alteryx and Power Automate to streamline workflows.
- Write, test, and maintain code in languages including Apex, JavaScript, and Python to support Salesforce applications and their integrations.
- Create and execute automated testing scripts to bolster quality assurance efforts and ensure robust application performance.
- Oversee DevOps activities, conduct peer code reviews, and generate comprehensive technical documentation for ongoing projects.
- Provide mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers, fostering a culture of learning and the adoption of AI technologies within the team.
- Troubleshoot complex system incidents and deliver training sessions to business partners on newly implemented processes and tools.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for application development.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application performance and user experience.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to align technology solutions with business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions for the organization.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design, development, and maintenance of Salesforce applications and integrations.
- Proven experience in building AI agents using Agentforce and creating custom AI workflows tailored to business needs.
- Strong proficiency in integrating Salesforce with third-party applications such as Conga, Docusign, Adobe, Marketo, Gainsight, Gong, Qualtrics, Kantata, and TaskRay.
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools, including GitHub, Copado, or AutoRabit, to streamline development processes.
- In-depth understanding of Salesforce data models, security protocols, and governor limits to ensure compliance and performance.
- Valid Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II and Salesforce Advanced Administrator certifications are required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering,



or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in a similar role.

Nice to have

- Experience working with platforms such as Workday, AWS, or Azure that can complement Salesforce solutions.
- Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular, as well as familiarity with the Salesforce Lightning Design System.
- Understanding of various Salesforce clouds, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and Einstein analytics.
- Familiarity with authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect to enhance security measures.
- Previous experience in a SaaS product environment or exposure to a Product Operating Model would be advantageous.
- Salesforce Certified Application or Systems Architect credential is a plus.
