Ideal candidates demonstrate a robust commitment to establishing a permanent acute‐care hospital practice and to working collaboratively with all inter‐professional team members.ResponsibilitiesAdmission and care management of "unattached" patients as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP).Provide supportive care for select surgical and specialty medical patients.Maintain flexibility with rounding lines, admission shifts, overnight shifts, and virtual shifts, supported by clinical associates.QualificationsLicensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).Certification of either CCFP (or equivalent) or FRCP.Strong ACLS certification (recommended).Hospitalist experience, fellowship, and/or membership in professional hospital medicine societies is an asset.CompensationWe are on the new Fraser Health Hospitalist Contract, which pays rates per PMA plus additional incentives.
