Become a Senior Property Accountant at RioCan’s Lawrence Allen Centre location, where you will manage complex property financials and elevate accounting practices. This role focuses on financial statement preparation and property account reconciliation.Reporting to the Manager of Property Accounting, you will manage financial records and prepare detailed reports for one of Canada's largest REITs. Your expertise in recurring financial processes such as journal entries and bank reconciliations will be vital.



You'll also collaborate with property and asset managers to resolve tenant issues and perform thorough month-end close processes.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and post journal entries for various transactions- Code and approve invoices for Accounts Payable- Prepare financial management reports and cash flow statements- Review lease summaries and tenant revenue accruals- Coordinate with departments on tax and financial recovery mattersRequirements:- College Diploma or University Degree in Finance or Accounting- 3–5 years of experience in property accounting- Proficiency in financial statement preparation- Familiarity with Yardi is an asset- Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsWith your experience in property accounting, you'll contribute to the financial integrity at RioCan, where growth and innovation thrive.#J-18808-Ljbffr
