The Role In a Nutshell
- Working as an integral part of the Pre-Construction Team to design and contribute to the success of a wide array of high-end residential projects.
- Completing a diverse range of daily tasks to support successful projects, including:
- Support a Lead Designer - through Initial Consultations and Customer Discussions
- Build Design Specifications Packages; including Working Drawings, Millwork Packages, Details, RCP
- Develop a material selection package for clients & suppliers
- Management and procurement of finishes
- Maintaining budgets for all selections
- Coordinating of materials/finish selections to sites
- Overseeing templates, measures and installation of custom details
- Client communication
Experience Required
- Experience : 1 - 2 years of experience in residential design required, customer sales experience an asset.
- Technical Skills : AutoCAD and proficiency in Microsoft Office is mandatory with strong spreadsheet skills and an ability to build and maintain budgets as required. Proficiency in Revit an asset.
- Education : Accredited interior design program an asset.
- Interpersonal Skills : Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong multitasking skills is mandatory.
- Growth-Oriented : Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to achieving ambitious company goals. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, with a robust work ethic.
- Valid Driver's License: Required
