Veterinarian, Medical DirectorLocation: Toronto, ONEmployment Type: Full TimeJob Status: ExistingCompensation: $120,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experienceSecord Animal Hospital, located in the heart of Toronto, ON is welcoming a full-time experienced Veterinarian to join our team of highly engaged and veterinary professionals. Over and above your primary Veterinarian responsibilities, your secondary responsibility will be providing Medical Director leadership for the Hospital.The ideal candidate for the Medical Director position will be confident and excited about building a strong team that aligns with our values. You see your team as an integral part of the broader team and you focus on taking the time to know each member, knowing that each person requires a tailored approach when it comes to: learning, performance and attaining set out goals.Provide veterinary medical care for regular and urgent care appointmentsOversees surgical and medical cases for veterinary doctors ensuring positive outcomes and accurate estimatesReview and enhance protocols when required according to regulatory requirementsWorking in partnership with the management team you will direct and foster the veterinary staff to deliver exceptional client experience and excellence in veterinary careReview and enhance protocols when required according to regulatory requirementsCreate a culture of "teamwork" and "exceptional client service"In partnership with hospital manager and leadership, review financial performance and general operations for areas that require improvement, and also to celebrate goals achieved monthly, quarterly and annuallyParticipate in recruiting of qualified Veterinarians; externships,
