The BIM Manager, Glazing leads the drafting and detailing function for Triumph's glazing division, starting out as a hands-on individual contributor with the mandate to build the function into a full team over time. You will produce and review shop drawings, fabrication packages, and BIM models for curtain wall, storefront, and glazing projects, using VDC (virtual design and construction) and BIM tools to catch clashes and coordination issues before they hit the field. You report to the Contracts Manager and work closely with estimating, project managers, and the shop floor to keep drawings accurate and on schedule. Early on, that means doing the drafting work yourself and setting the standards, templates, and workflows the division will run on as it grows. Once the team starts to build out, you will hire, train, and manage the drafters who join you. The people who do well in this role are comfortable working solo today while thinking two steps ahead about the department they are building.
