Drive impactful oversight in AECL's field operations as Director, bringing your operational expertise to strategic decision-making. This role involves hybrid work and a focus on environmental management and facility oversight. AECL is looking for an experienced leader to oversee field operations related to science and technology and waste management across various sites. You will be responsible for ensuring that site conditions and field observations are systematically integrated into AECL's governance and decision-making. This position requires collaboration with executives, technical specialists, and Indigenous communities, enhancing the contributions to evidence-based operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide owner-side oversight of field operations
- Develop and implement documented oversight plans




- Gather and assess site intelligence and field data
- Ensure field observations are integrated into decision processes
- Lead a team generating site-based evidence Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Science, or Environmental Management
- Significant experience in site operations and field oversight
- Skilled designation (P.Eng. or similar) is an asset
- Knowledge of oversight practices in regulated environments
