Pharmasave #211 (Walnut Grove) is looking for a part time Front Store Clerk to join our team in Langley, British Columbia.ResponsibilitiesProvide warm, friendly customer service by greeting all customers and handling inquiries courteouslyOperate the cash register, stock shelves, tidy aisles, and support various front-store tasksEnsure store cleanliness and organization, including performing light janitorial duties and maintaining displaysFollow store policies on security, shoplifting, lottery, and CBO ticket handlingMonitor cash levels, anticipate change needs, and request pickups when necessaryDevelop strong product knowledge, stay informed about new items, and maintain awareness of store layoutMerchandise products effectively using shelf labels, rotation, and facing techniquesManage allocated sections and notify buyers of out-of-stock itemsAssist in inventory maintenance and support reordering processesSupport seasonal displays and promotional setupsHandle difficult customer situations with tact and elevate complaints as neededReport customer feedback and concerns to the store managerRemain productive between customer interactionsComplete miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Front Store Manager or Store Operator/Pharmacy ManagerPostal Office DutiesEnsure all customers' mail is sorted in a timely fashion.Sort, sequence, and batch mail items.Answer customer questions and concerns about their mail.Review mail items for address accuracy, proper postage, etc.Perform any combination of tasks in a post office, such as receiving letters, selling postage and revenue stamps, and stamping envelopes.Operate a computer to key in data.Send and receive MoneyGram.Weigh letters and parcels; compute mailing costs based on type, weight, and destination; and affix correct postage.Exercise physical effort in bending, reaching, lifting, carrying,
etc.Carry out additional duties as delegated by the Front Store Manager and Store Operator/Pharmacy Manager.QualificationsAccurate cash handling and strong customer service skillsAbility to stand for extended periods and multitask in a fast-paced environmentClear, courteous communication and strong product knowledgeExperience in merchandising, retail, or cashiering is an assetMature, cooperative attitude with a professional appearance, including proper grooming and a name tagCriminal Record Check requiredSchedule16 to 24 hours per week (Part-time)The store is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.M. to 7:00 p.M., Saturday from 9:00 a.M. to 6:00 p.M., and Sunday from 10:00 a.M. to 5:00 p.M.Applicants must be flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts within these days and hours.8-hour daily shifts.Availability on both weekdays and weekends is required.Who We AreNeighbourly Pharmacy is Canada's largest and fastest growing network of community pharmacies.
