Enhance post-secondary teaching practices by joining the Centre for Teaching and Learning as a Graduate Teaching Assistant specializing in Indigenous approaches. This hybrid role supports both remote and in-person tasks.Ideal for an Indigenous graduate student, this 12-hour-per-week role is focused on the critical work of decolonizing education. You will collaborate with dedicated professionals to develop curricula that respects Indigenous voices and practices. Expect hands-on experience in educational development and community engagement while working closely with the CTL Elder.Key Responsibilities:Develop curriculum resources incorporating Indigenous voicesSupport instructors in delivering engaging and inclusive programmingAid initiatives for respectful Indigenous engagementParticipate in scheduled CTL Elder visitsConduct weekly check-ins for programming successRequirements:Indigenous graduate student statusBackground in educational development preferredUnderstanding of decolonization in teaching practicesCommitment to flexibility in scheduling hoursStrong teamwork and relational skillsMake a meaningful impact on education through Indigenous-informed teaching and collaboration at CTL.#J-18808-Ljbffr
