Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Your impactReporting to the Vice President, Order Enablement, you are responsible for providing direct support to the organization with respect to reporting, forecasting and audit.You will have direct responsibility over the global Order Enablement operations and will be a strategic advisor to the O2C leadership and act as a key interface with the transformation group. This position requires someone with a high degree of autonomy and a broad understanding of the business and finance.What the role offersProvide day-to-day leadership for the team, including hiring, performance appraisals, goal setting and compensation reviews as well as leadership and coachingAccountable to develop, recommend, implement and continuously assess OpenText's O2C policies, processes and practices, including those from acquired companies to deliver on the Billings strategyAccountable to lead a team and deliver best in class governance, reporting and analytic capabilities to support your peers, leader and executives in enabling effective business decisionsLead reporting cycles, including forecasting, reviews, metrics and corporate reportingBuild relationships and liaise with key stakeholders to improve processes for reporting and continuous improvement (Accounting, AR, Sales, IT, PS and Audit)Responsible for maintaining SOX documentation and effectively communicating necessary updatesPartner with senior leaders on improving Billing metrics,



report and track ELT KPI'S through accurate and effective reporting and analyticsAccountable to deliver on complex audit requirements, internal and external reporting and reviews with all key stakeholdersIdentify risks and opportunities during each quarter and work with functional leads to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunitiesUnderstand and explain variance drivers within the function (SLA)Assist with M&A activities and perform ad hoc analysis as neededWhat you need to succeed10+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a global software services/high tech environmentStrong analytical skills: able to clearly link results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and minimize financial risksExcellent written and verbal communication and change management skills, with all levels, internal and externalExcellent knowledge on accounting principles, compliance and SOX controlsExperience working with Senior Level ManagementSelf-starter working under minimal supervision with cross functional teams to drive goalsDemonstrated ability to drive a culture of accuracy and efficiency in a continuously changing setting.Expert skills in using tools necessary to build dynamic modelingExperience with financial systems/applications (i.E.: SAP, other data extraction tools), proficiency in Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation, including pivot tables, v-lookup & Macros.Proficiency in PowerPointAbility to prioritize multiple deliverables and execute tasks with short lead timesCollege/University BA, Business, Accounting, Economics or FinanceAccounting Designation programOne last thingOpenText is more than just a corporation, it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned.Seniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/AuditingIndustriesSoftware Development and Information Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
