Clerk Meat – Part TimeThis role is located at 3661 Bedford FreshCo, Bedford, Nova Scotia (postal code B4A 2B6) in Canada. The position requires 0–10% travel and is a part‐time role.ResponsibilitiesAdhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, corporate policies, and other programs and initiatives.Order, receive, prep, and merchandise meat products in accordance with company inventory control procedures.Provide superior customer service to meet customer needs.Increase store sales by actively promoting featured products.Perform back shop and retail floor maintenance,
keeping the work area clean and presentable as per company requirements.Prep customer meat orders as required.Process department shrink as required.Participate in the training of junior staff.Perform other duties as required.QualificationsAbility to work independently in a fast‐paced workplace.Above average communication skills (oral and written).Capability to lift up to 20 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and reaching.CompensationFreshCo and its franchise partners offer competitive total compensation packages that vary by role, location, and store ownership.
