About the role

Pinterest is seeking a full-stack engineer to join the Monetization team in Toronto. You will design and implement features for ad-creation flows and Pinner-facing experiences while collaborating with product, design, and backend partners. This role involves managing the full development lifecycle, from initial ideation and prototyping to architecting scalable solutions for millions of users.

What you'll do

- Architect and ship UI components for AI-powered ad formats and monetization products.
- Lead the end-to-end product development process, including A/B testing and rapid prototyping.
- Build and maintain full-stack features that support Pinner engagement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable functionality.
- Implement automated testing to ensure technical reliability and maintainability.




- Propose recent product ideas and features to improve the platform.

Requirements

- 4+ years of professional full-stack development experience on consumer or business-facing products.
- Proficiency in building scalable web UIs using React, Typescript, Redux, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Experience with common full-stack tech stacks, including storage, caching, data processing, and API development.
- Demonstrated ability to write reliable, maintainable code for shared use.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

- React, Typescript, Redux, GraphQL, REST APIs, Javascript.

Practical notes

- This is a hybrid role requiring in-office collaboration 1-2 times per half.
