The Senior Director, Acute Sales & Services, Ontario, leads all acute Sales activities and teams across the region, to drive profitable growth for Cardinal Health portfolio of products and services (ValueLink) as well as for our large, distributed products business. This highly visible role will focus on driving profitable growth for all acute sales, with P&L responsibility for their region, and strategic presence at the provincial Government levels. This role will work to accelerate market share gains and maximize product mix. The Senior Director will work cross functionally with Marketing, Operations and Commercial Excellence and in partnership with the other regional Acute Sales Directors and the VP Non-Acute sales to exceed sales targets and provide best in class customer experience. This role is responsible for defining long term regional acute sales strategies and executing to deliver sustainable growth of the business. Reporting to the President, this role will serve as a member of the Canadian Leadership team (CLT) as well as hold a leadership role on the deal approval and GPO councils. For more information on what it is like to work for us, please watch our Cardinal Health - Wings video, as well as a products overview at Shop Cardinal Health Canada Products.Your Contributions to the Organization:Lead, coach and mentor sales & services leaders to develop their teams and build a high performing sales force to deliver scalable results across the region.Set vision and sales strategy for regional sales team targeting aggressive sales and GP growth targets annually.Maintain and grow our presence in the acute market with healthcare providers, provincial Governmental entities, and GPOs.Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the industry, including key competitors, technology, trends, customer challenges and opportunities, funding and government regulation.Provide guidance on bids, price quotes, RFP responses, and presentations for distribution services and product portfolio.Act as key stakeholder in Deal Approval Committee.Play a leadership role in GPO committee to make aligned, strategic decisions according to Cardinal Health Canada business priorities.Develop explicit understanding of which relationships are most important to the organization and its stakeholders,
