Are you a seasoned Solutions Architect with expertise in cloud and messaging systems?Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Solutions Architect-Kafka/Notification Or Messaging Platform. This position involves supporting multiple BAU and strategic architecture initiatives, primarily focusing on high-volume event-driven and messaging systems, within a large financial services environment. The successful candidate will develop and maintain architecture frameworks, collaborate across teams, and ensure solutions align with enterprise standards.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain architecture frameworks, strategies, policies, principles, and standards for technology solutionsDesign, evaluate, and recommend scalable, reliable, and secure architectural solutions aligned with business needs and enterprise standardsCollaborate with CoE partners and other architects to understand and vet security standards and mitigate risksAnalyze business requirements to identify optimal solutions within the architecture frameworkReview detailed project solution architectures for compliance with standards and security policies, providing sign-offContribute to project planning; oversee project execution by managing resources and communicating statusProvide expert consultation on high-risk, complex projects, ensuring technical solutions meet requirementsWork with Systems Analysts to develop Requirements Traceability Matrices for end-to-end solution trackingFacilitate collaboration across business units to ensure consistent application of IT strategies and standardsEnsure project compliance with architecture and development standards through ongoing reviewsSupport development and communication of strategic policies and solutionsConduct pre- and post-implementation reviews to verify solution effectiveness and complianceIdentify enhancements and gaps in architectural frameworks and standards for continuous improvementStay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance architectural solutionsLead negotiations of third-party contracts and support knowledge transfer across teamsPromote teamwork and provide support to achieve organizational objectivesManage complex architecture projects independently, acting as a subject matter expertAct as a key resource in architectural information exchange within project teams and external vendorsDesired Skill-SetBachelor's degree or technical certification; graduate degree preferredOver 10 years of relevant experience within high-volume eventing and messaging systemsProven expertise in designing and tuning high-throughput messaging systems like Kafka / Confluent CloudStrong experience with Azure Cloud platform and cloud-native architectureExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage complex projects autonomouslyNice to HaveExperience with Amazon ConnectKnowledge of AWS and GCP cloud platformsBeachHead is an equal prospect agency and employer.
