We are constantly studying and evaluating our benefits and policies to better meet present and future requirements.Position – Lead Interior Mechanic (Aircraft Interiors / MRO)The Lead Interior Mechanic is responsible for performing and overseeing aircraft interior maintenance, modifications, installations, and repairs in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) setting. This role requires strong aircraft interiors experience, leadership ability, and the capability to support widebody aircraft interior projects and heavy maintenance operations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform installation, removal, modification, and repair of aircraft interior componentsLead and support interior technicians during maintenance and modification activitiesInstall and repair interior components including sidewalls, ceiling panels, carpeting, seats, bins, lavatories, galleys, and monumentsRead and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical documentationPerform fitting, trimming, drilling, fastening,
and assembly of interior componentsEnsure all work is completed in compliance with FAA regulations and company standardsInspect completed work to ensure quality and airworthiness standards are metSupport heavy maintenance and aircraft modification projects on widebody aircraftTroubleshoot interior discrepancies and determine corrective actionsAssist in training and mentoring junior interior techniciansMaintain accurate maintenance documentation and recordsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentOther duties as assignedCompetenciesTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Leadership – Provides guidance and support to interior teamsCommunication – Communicates clearly with team members and leadershipDependability – Maintains reliability and accountabilityInitiative – Takes ownership of projects and operational goalsTeamwork – Works collaboratively in a heavy maintenance environmentWork Quality – Ensures precision and compliance in all interior work performedSafety – Follows safety procedures and promotes a safe work environmentProblem Solving – Diagnoses and resolves installation and fitment issues effectivelySummary of Education, Experience & CertificationHigh School diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 4+ years of aircraft interior experience requiredWidebody aircraft experience requiredMilitary aircraft interior experience consideredMust be authorized to work in the United StatesFAA Airframe license preferred but not required unless specified by program requirements.Required Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong knowledge of aircraft interior installation and repair practicesExperience performing interior modifications and maintenance on widebody aircraftAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentationExperience with fitting, trimming, drilling, fastening, and interior assembly #J-18808-Ljbffr
