This is a hands‐on individual contributor role: you'll be our only full‐time ME, responsible for everything from enclosure detailing and DFM through injection mold tooling, assembly process design, and manufacturing engineering.You won't be working in isolation. Our CTO (EE lead) and Head of Manufacturing both have hands in mechanical work and will be your closest collaborators. You'll also work with an external ID contractor to translate the industrial design concept into production‐ready mechanical designs. The ME function is yours to own, fully.Expect to be in our Gastown office most days. The physical nature of the work (prototypes, builds, test rigs, CM coordination) rewards being there in person.
