Embark on a fulfilling career as a 3rd Year Apprentice Pipefitter with Strike at the Cenovus Christina Lake North plant in Conklin, Alberta. Gain hands-on experience in installing and maintaining vital piping systems while adhering to a strong safety culture.
As an integral part of Strike's team, you will assist journeyperson pipefitters in various tasks, ensuring effective installation of equipment and piping. Your responsibilities will include interpreting blueprints, assembling piping and valves, and preparing components for rigging. This role also offers a great 8/6 rotation with camp accommodations and a travel allowance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
• Assist with installation of pipe, equipment, and steel
• Prepare and rig pipefitting components
• Hydrotest and install pipe spools
• Measure and cut pipe as required
Requirements:
• Must be a registered 3rd year Apprentice
• Valid H2S Alive and CSTS 2020 or PST tickets
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Comfortable working outdoors
• Pass pre-employment drug testing
