We are 18,000 projects and counting – improving lives and helping shape the growth of sustainable, progressive and inclusive communities.Your RoleAs a Senior Manager, Infrastructure Advisory, you will focus on understanding client needs and providing project planning advice to owners and investors of infrastructure and real estate assets in both the private and public sectors. You will have the autonomy and opportunity to deliver innovative solutions and provide expert advice from concept and feasibility through to project construction.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate to prepare for prospective client discovery callsMeet with prospective clients in discovery calls, understand the questions to ask and avenues to explore to inform preparation of proposalsContribute to winning proposals and participate in compelling client presentationsSet up and manage IA projects according to Colliers Project Management System, ensuring quality complianceSupport the preparation of business cases, proposals, presentations,
and contribute to business developmentPerform due diligence and detailed analysis that will help develop comprehensive strategies and business plans in support of client investmentsApply exceptional writing skills to prepare reports for a broad variety of assignmentsBuild on your understanding of the Canadian advisory marketplace and gain exposure to a diverse range of clients and major infrastructure projects across the countryDemonstrate adaptability and support overall delivery of IA services across our main service lines of P3 & Transaction Advisory, Capital Project Feasibility, Project & Program Governance, Infrastructure Portfolio Assessment and Strategy, and Strategic ProcurementQualificationsUniversity degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Engineering, Architecture or a related mix of academic and practical experienceMBA or master's degree in a relevant discipline is an asset8+ years of experience in a similar advisory role, consulting to public and private sector clientsA broad skill set including strong presentation and stakeholder facilitation, business case and report writing, organizational and analytical skillsExcellent communication and writing skillsSolid financial and general Excel modeling skillsExperience in roads, transportation, buildings, and energy infrastructure is an assetExcellent verbal and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interpret and compile information and articulate findingsDemonstrated writing ability and aptitude for compiling well‐thought‐out and concise summaries, reports and recommendations that provide outstanding value to clientsA positive outlook and energetic disposition with clients,
along with the ability to effectively influence positive client decisionsExcellent relationship‐building and collaboration skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and external industry subject matter expertsHigh level of critical thinking and problem‐solving skillsBilingualism (English/French) is an assetEligibility RequirementsPrior to applying, please review the Government of Canada security screening requirements to ensure you meet the eligibility requirements to obtain Secret level clearance. Final compensation will be determined considering the candidate's skills, experience, qualifications and regional consideration.
