you 're a trusted advisor to clients, helping them with corporate and personal tax planning and compliance so they can benefit from tax savings. Here 's some of what you'll get to do:Work closely with clients and the engagement team to develop exceptional tax planning ideas and solutions to achieve our client's business objectivesBe a leader in the management and development of our growing tax practiceAssist clients to manage their income tax planning, implementation and compliance requirements including complex Private Business corporate, personal, and trust mattersIdentify, develop and pursue new opportunities for assisting clients with value added-on tax servicesProvide exceptional client serviceStay attuned and respond to new legislation, interpretations and market factors that impact our clientsCoach and mentor professional staffPrepare and present information to clients, colleagues and other professionalsWhy Doane Grant ThorntonIf you're a bit like us, you're driven to connect with how others are feeling and thinking. trust and estate matters gained as one element of providing corporate and personal tax planning and compliance services to privately held businessesDemonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client serviceAbility to develop, present and apply new ideas, creative approaches and innovative solutions.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong interest in coaching and development, with a commitment to personal growthCommitment to excellence in product quality and attention to detailA team player able to rally resources and work with others to meet the needs of the clientSalary and BenefitsAt Doane Grant Thornton we're focused on making a difference in the lives of our clients, our colleagues and our communities. That's our purpose. Our compensation is competitive and reflective of your background, skills, and impact. The current salary range for this role is $130,000–$180,000 in Markham, ON. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.What's in it for you?
