Job Summary
Senior DevOps Specialist Key Skills & Responsibilities: Dynatrace Observability — Actively monitors cloud-native and serverless applications using Dynatrace dashboards, service-flow views, distributed tracing, and Davis AI for root cause analysis across Lambda, API Gateway, databases, and queues. Alert Tuning & Noise Reduction — Tuned Dynatrace alerts using symptom-based detection, anomaly baselines, and maintenance windows — significantly improving signal quality and reducing alert fatigue for on-call teams. OpenShift Administration — Manages OpenShift environments end-to-end including namespaces, routes, operators, RBAC/SCC policies, health probes, autoscaling, resource quotas, and production troubleshooting. Ansible Automation — Builds reusable Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules integrated with CI/CD pipelines for server configuration, patching, certificate updates, middleware deployment, and controlled production rollbacks with idempotency checks. Operational Excellence & SRE Practice — Defined SLIs/SLOs covering availability, latency, error rate, and queue age; created runbooks and automated recovery workflows; managed change execution via ServiceNow; and maintained Confluence documentation for SOPs and implementation guides. Akamai & Cross-Team Collaboration — Participated in Akamai DNS, CDN, and edge security deployments while coordinating across DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams using Agile and ITIL practices. Administer OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms, including security, scaling, and troubleshooting. Develop Ansible automation for deployments, patching, configuration management, and operational tasks. Implement Dynatrace monitoring, alerting, observability, and root cause analysis. Define SLIs/SLOs, maintain runbooks, and drive SRE best practices.
