We are a proud Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to providing employees work-life balance with a competitive compensation package including:Top wagesSalary range between $119-169K, depending on experienceBenefit coverage for you and your dependentsEmployer RRSP contributions (no match required)Employee Share OwnershipVacationand Sick/FR daysWe currently have an opening in the Greater Toronto Area, ON for a:Project SuperintendentThe Project Superintendent completes project requirements as per plans and specifications on time and on budget in cooperation with the Project Manager, while promoting and enforcing the Health & Safety program.How will you contribute to the team?Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety legislation, policies and procedures in daily operations; Ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations, policies and procedures in daily operations; Review and monitor Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) to ensure compliance to the requirements of the process and safety of the workRepresent Kenaidan Contracting Ltd. in dealing with the MOL during on-site visits, as required; Coordination ofsite personnel; Coordinate withtrade contractors for proper sequencing; Maintain accurate and concise records of cost codes and be familiar with current and projected costs; Verify and audit site costs against the budget; Manage and foresee potential problems in design/construction; Develop, with the involvement of the Project Manager,



the overall project schedule; Coordinate equipment and manpower to achieve schedule requirements; Identify potential additional work with the Project Manager and track as required; Hold regular trade meetings, safety meetings, etc. and ensure meeting minutes are recorded, posted and distributed; Review weekly quantity reports for labour cost; Continual review of the contract drawings to identify discrepancies between the various disciplines.Education and ExperienceExperience as a Site Supervisor/Project Superintendent in a General Contracting setting, managing all aspects of the projectC.Tech., P.Eng., or CET designation.Either hold or are eligible for your 'Gold Seal' certification10 -15 years' construction related experience in the $75~$100 million rangeWater/Waste Water, ICI/Infrastructure, Transport or Airport Project ExperienceHighly competent with self-performed formwork and concreteOutstanding communication and organizational skillsStrong leadership and teambuilding abilitiesAbility to effectively manage an hourly workforce and sub-tradesProficiency with MS Office is required.Think you're the right fit?Apply today!
