Available (on an as-needed basis) roles include:Education AssistantsCasual Support Positions Overview: Education AssistantEducation Assistants work with teaching staff to support students with diverse abilities and unique needs, including autism, behavioral challenges, mental health issues, and physical health concerns.Key Responsibilities:Facilitate positive interactions among students, staff, and the communitySupervise and monitor student conductAssist with physical tasks, including lifting and transferring studentsSupport students during break periods and bus arrival/departureEducation & Experience:Diploma or Certificate in Child and Youth Care or Education Assistance (preferred)Experience working with children with communication delays and challenging behaviorsFirst-Aid Level I and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification (asset)Strong teamwork and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
