Over the years, they have built a reputation for delivering large-scale residential and mixed-use concrete high-rise developments with a focus on quality, collaboration, and long-term relationships.With multiple active and upcoming projects throughout Metro Vancouver, the company continues to experience steady growth and is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to join their construction team.The organization prides itself on maintaining a professional, team-oriented culture while delivering technically challenging projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.About the OpportunityThis is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Superintendent to take ownership of complex concrete high-rise projects from pre‐construction through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role onsite, overseeing field operations, managing site teams and trade coordination, maintaining schedules, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.This individual will work closely with Project Managers, Consultants, Subtrades,
and Ownership groups to ensure smooth project execution and strong communication throughout all phases of construction.The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive concrete high‐rise experience who thrives in fast‐paced environments and is confident managing large teams and complex construction schedules.ResponsibilitiesLead all onsite construction activities from excavation through project completionManage Assistant Superintendents, Site Superintendents, and field staffCoordinate and oversee subcontractors, consultants, and site operationsMaintain and update project schedules alongside the Project Management teamEnsure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company safety standardsConduct regular site inspections and quality control reviewsLead subcontractor and consultant meetingsCoordinate municipal inspections, permits, and occupancy requirementsReview architectural and shop drawings for accuracy and constructabilityIdentify scheduling issues and proactively implement solutionsMonitor project progress, manpower, and site logisticsEnsure site cleanliness, organization, and professionalism at all timesAssist with project planning, pre‐construction logistics,
and budgeting activitiesReview progress claims, vendor invoices, and field reporting documentationMaintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, trades, and regulatory authoritiesRequirements15+ years of experience within concrete high‐rise constructionPrevious experience in a Senior Superintendent or large project leadership capacityStrong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site logisticsProven ability to lead large site teams and multiple subcontractorsExcellent communication and relationship management skillsStrong understanding of drawings, specifications, and construction documentationExperience managing projects in fast‐paced environments with tight deadlinesKnowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance requirementsGold Seal Certification considered an assetRed Seal Trade Certification considered an assetFirst Aid and WHMIS certifications preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience considered an assetCompensation & Benefits$170,000 – $200,000 depending on experienceComprehensive health & dental benefits packageHealth and wellness spending of $1500 a yearCell phone allowanceWe believe diverse teams build stronger companies, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
