Are you ready to trade long hours on your feet for a career where your industry expertise can make an even greater impact?
If you've built your career in restaurants, clubs, hospitality, catering, banquets, retail, golf, recreation, or membership-based organizations and are looking for a new challenge, this is an opportunity to leverage your operational knowledge in a rewarding consulting role.
At Total e Integrated (TEI), we help clubs, golf courses, hospitality organizations, recreation facilities, retailers, and community organizations streamline their business through innovative software solutions. As a Software Consultant, you'll combine your operational expertise with technology to help clients successfully implement, configure, and optimize our software platform.
You'll serve as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation process—leading discovery workshops, recommending best practices, configuring solutions, delivering training, and ensuring clients are set up for long-term success.
We're hiring for consultants with deep expertise in either of the following areas:
- Food & Beverage — restaurant, club dining, catering, banquets, and F&B; retail operations
- Retail, Golf, Activities & Membership — pro shops, tee sheets, activity/court bookings, and membership management
This role offers a combination of work from home and the opportunity to travel to client sites for onsite training, project meetings, and go-live support when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client discovery sessions to understand business processes and document functional and technical requirements.
- Analyze operational workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through TEI software solutions.
- Configure TEI software modules — Food & Beverage, POS, inventory, online ordering, and events, or Retail, Golf, Activities, and Membership — to align with client business requirements.
- Perform solution testing and validation to ensure successful implementations.
- Deliver engaging training sessions for administrators, managers, supervisors, and end users, both virtually and onsite.
- Provide implementation consulting, best practice recommendations, and change management guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor during implementations.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Development, Support, and Product teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Troubleshoot implementation issues and assist clients in complex integrated environments involving POS, accounting, web, and payment systems.
- Create and maintain implementation documentation, training materials, and knowledge resources.
- Travel to client locations for onsite workshops, implementations, training, and go-live support as required.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting project timelines and quality expectations.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations, restaurant management, club dining, catering, and banquet operations — OR — retail, golf operations, activities, membership management, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of POS systems, inventory management, and back-office operations relevant to your area of expertise (F&B; menu management and pricing, or retail/golf tee sheet, activity booking, and membership workflows).
- Experience configuring or administering business software applications.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and client-facing communication skills.
- Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel,
Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of accounting principles.
- Experience supporting organizational change and user adoption.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel to client sites as project requirements dictate.
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard business hours to support project milestones.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management, Business, Information Technology, Adult Education, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience participating in software implementations or operational system rollouts.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL is an asset.
- Experience using JIRA or similar project management tools.
- Experience with hospitality, club management, restaurant management, or golf/retail management software.
- For Food & Beverage candidates: experience with multi-outlet F&B; operations, golf club dining, banquet management, or catering systems.
