In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for monitoring and adjusting building equipment to ensure maximum efficiency. With a customer service focused mindset, you will also ensure all tenant and operation teams' requests are completed in a timely manner.ResponsibilitiesMonitoring the day-to-day operations/repairs of the complex's HVAC equipment (including pumps, motors, fans, Variable speed drives, compressors, etc.), Life Safety systems, building automation systems and lighting systemsWater treatment program, regular water tests and addition of chemicalsPreventative maintenance on all building and HVAC equipment including small plumbing repairs and drain clearingTimely responses/resolutions of all tenant requests logged through MRI Angus,



and ensuring there is on-going communication with tenants regarding any mechanical/HVAC issuesLiaising with service providers and contractorsReviewing and monitoring contracted work to ensure everything is being performed in a protected manner, as well as compliant with building standardsDeveloping energy priorities for building systems to keep in line with Oxford's sustainability practices and objectives, including daily energy management of HVAC and lighting systemsGeneral maintenance and other duties as requestedRequired Skills & ExperienceA minimum of 3-5 years of technical and mechanical building operations experienceExtensive knowledge and experience operating HVAC equipment, plumbing, electrical, BAS, FAS and Life Safety Systems in a Class A office/retail complexBuilding Environmental Systems (BES) Certification Class I is requiredMust be able to lift 25lbMust be able to climb and safely use laddersPreferred Skills & ExperienceBOMI, SMT or SMA is preferred but not requiredSkills in blueprint reading, as applied to technical areasExceptional skills in communication, organization, customer service, interpersonal and time managementThe ability to work with minimal supervision12hr shift work including weekendsMust be a team playerExpected hourly range: $26.00/hr to $32.00/hr.You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.From hire to retire, we are an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive, barrier‐free recruitment and selection process that extends all the way through your employee experience.
