Job HighlightsOperations & MaintenanceElk Valley ResourcesOn‐SiteAbout the RoleReporting to the Superintendent or Senior Lead, Maintenance, this role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities across key mining and processing assets while supporting the end‐to‐end maintenance lifecycle within SAP S/4HANA. Working closely with maintenance trades, planners, supervisors, and operations personnel, the incumbent ensures the accuracy of work requests, effective coordination of resources, and the integrity of maintenance records.To be successful, we are looking for someone with strong communication skills, solid technical understanding of mining equipment and operations, proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (such as SAP), exceptional organizational ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to perform effectively in quick‐paced environments while managing competing priorities. Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution is essential.Multiple opportunities are available across several EVR operations. Work locations and rotational schedules will vary depending on the assigned site and operational requirements. All positions follow day shift schedules, with rotations that may include, but are not limited to, 8x8, 7x7, or 4x4.Application Deadline: Aug 3, 2026In This Role You WillParticipate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policiesAdminister and coordinate large volume of maintenance work requests and work orders within S4/HANASubmit Maintenance Requests on behalf of ContractorsScreen New Maintenance Requests dailyPrioritize requests (Emergency, Minor, Standard)



and ensure traceability and controlEnsure Maintenance Requests include accurate functional locations or equipment number, detailed work scope descriptions, required labour estimates and materialsLead daily work control meetings with Supervisors, Planners, and OperationsAct as the main point of communication between Maintenance Supervisors, Trades, Operations and Reliability/Planning teamsVerifying that permits, isolations, and all required safety requirements are identified and communicated to SupervisorsEnsuring the correct parts, materials, and tools are sourced and delivered to support timely repairsApprove materials within defined permissions and support cost controlCoordinating the assignment of the appropriate tradespeople and contractorsSecuring mobile equipment or plant downtime windows needed to complete the workAssessing the production impact of equipment downtime and prioritizing work accordinglyFacilitating collaboration across multiple operational areas to enable smooth executionProviding guidance and support to ensure reactive maintenance activities are completed safely, effectively, and on scheduleWorking with Trades, Operations, and Contractors to confirm complete job scopes, resource requirements, and parts needsEnsuring safety requirements, tools,



and procedures are incorporated into work plansCollaborating with Planners and Schedulers to prioritize work and align activities with equipment availability and production needsCoordinating with the Materials Coordinator to secure tools, and materials, and ensuring they are properly staged before executionMonitoring equipment availability and assisting with warranty and returns processesReviewing daily and weekly schedules with Supervisors and SchedulersConducting final work order reviews to verify proper completion, including labour hours, parts usage, failure coding, and ensuring accurate trade notes are capturedSupporting on equipment reliability and maintenance performance reportingReviewing Bills of Materials (BOMs) associated with equipment in SAPEscalating delays or issues affecting major maintenance events, production or other priorities when neededSupporting preparation, planning and execution of major maintenance events, such as shutdownsRequirementsJourneyperson's ticket, or Engineering Degree in a related subject area (Mechanical, Mining, Processing), or a combination of relevant education and experience in mining or heavy industry7 years of experience in planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance workWell versed in the use of systems and technologyStrong understanding and skills in computerized maintenance management systemsValid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalentBenefitsTwo Annual Bonus PlansComprehensive Benefits PlanRetirement PackageHealth Lifestyle AccountRelocation AssistanceSalary Range: $123,000 – $145,000 / year #J-18808-Ljbffr
