We are currently recruiting for team members focused on QA regression and benchmark testing for our FortiOS products.Technical Job DutiesExecute regression and benchmark performance testing on products using a combination of manual and automated testing techniquesCreate, maintain, and execute test specifications and test casesWrite and maintain automation scriptsIdentify, document, and track software defects found during testingWork closely with developers to ensure defects are correctly identified and fixedProvide technical support and demonstrate relevant technical skillsJob Experience Required5+ years of software testing experienceSolid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTPS, routing, and switchingWorking experience with virtual machine environments (e.G., VMware/ESXi, Ubuntu)Demonstrated knowledge of firewalls, Linux, and packet sniffing toolsStrong knowledge of IPSec, SSL VPN, data encryption, and authenticationMandatory: Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) knowledgeKnowledge of general QA procedures and methodologies, as well as software development fundamentalsExperience with test tools such as BP Ixia, Spirent Avalanche, CyberFlood, or TestCenterExperience with frame capture and debugging tools (Wireshark, Omnipeek, etc.)Experience configuring, installing,



and troubleshooting PC/server software and hardware in Windows and Unix environmentsDemonstrated ability to logically and analytically troubleshoot software issuesAbility to work in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively with other departmentsAbility to work on assigned tasks under tight time constraintsDemonstrated ability to write clear and reproducible problem reports and test resultsDemonstrated skills in scripting languages such as shell, TCL, PERL, or PythonExcellent teamwork skillsThe Canada base salary range for this full‐time position is expected to be between $123,000 - $151,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.
