Join us and transform the lives of patients while transforming your career.Medical Science Liaison/Sr. MSL, Rare Diseases (Neurology/Rheumatology)What you will doEstablish and maintain an in-depth scientific and clinical understanding of neurology and rheumatologyIdentify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future thought leaders, speakers and investigatorsCommunicate complex, cutting edge, scientific information and research concepts to healthcare professionalsDevelop the territory by maximizing engagements with multidisciplinary HCPs by developing personalized engagement plan aiming to deliver valuable medical information to optimize patient care.Systematically collect and share insights from HCP engagements on the therapeutic area landscape to inform product strategy.Develop a regional medical plan with objectives aligned to national priorities and evaluate the progress of advancing regional goals to meet local needs.Find opportunities to implement regional learning events, and the development of projects according to HCPs needs assessmentManage the field activities related to the submission and execution of Investigator Supported Studies (ISS) in line with Amgen's existing policiesSupport reimbursement efforts by presenting clarity around clinical and scientific information supporting therapeutic decisions in patient care50% or more travelTerritory coverage: Quebec (base), Atlantic Provinces, Manitoba, and SaskatchewanWhat we expect of youWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The MSL qualified we seek is a candidate with these qualifications.Basic Qualifications:Advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, etc.)3+ years of relevant biopharmaceutical industry experienceBilingualism (French and English) is required. The holder of the position must be able to communicate fluently in English, as responsibilities involve regular interactions with anglophone colleagues and stakeholders outside Quebec.Experience in rare disease and/or neurology and/or rheumatologyResides in the province of Quebec (base)Preferred Qualifications:Medical Science Liaison experienceLaunch experience in Medical AffairsExceptional communication and time management skillsExperience working within a cross-functional matrix team environmentStrategic,
