This role owns the strategic direction, architecture, and evolution of the Compute & Storage platform domain. This includescomputeinfrastructure, virtualization, enterprise storage, workload hosting, resiliency, and recovery capabilities across on-premises and hybrid environments. This is a senior technical leadership role for an experienced architect who can balance long-term platform strategy with practical execution. You will define platform standards, drive architecture decisions, influence technology investments, and ensure the platform evolves in line with business needs, operational requirements, and industry best practices. Our offices currently operate on a hybrid model with a combination of in-office and remote working days throughout the week.What You Will DoOwn the architecture, strategy, and roadmap for the Compute & Storage platform domainDefine target-state architectures, platform standards, and technology guardrailsMake and govern key technology decisions relating to workload hosting, virtualization, storage, resiliency, and recoveryEstablish standardized platform patterns that improve scalability, reliability, security, and operational efficiencyEvaluate emerging technologies and drive platform modernization initiativesPartner with business, application, security, and infrastructure teams to align platform capabilities with business objectivesProvide architectural leadership across major initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise standardsGuide engineering teams and SMEs through design reviews, technical direction, and architectural governanceOwn platform lifecycle planning, capacity strategy, technical debt reduction,



and long-term sustainabilityWhat You Bring10+ years of experience designing and operating enterprise-scale infrastructure platformsSignificant experiencein infrastructure architecture, platform strategy, or technical leadership rolesStrongexpertiseacross compute, virtualization, storage, resiliency, and hybrid infrastructure environmentsExperience defining reference architectures, standards, roadmaps, and platform governance modelsStrong understanding of workload placement strategies, platform lifecycle management, and infrastructure modernizationAbility to balance architecture vision with operational realities and business prioritiesProven ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams and disciplinesStrong communicationskills with the ability to engage engineers, architects, senior leadership, vendors, and business stakeholdersPlatform-owner mindset with a focus on long-term outcomes, simplification, standardization, and business valueThe expected salary for this position is $130,000 - 140,000 CAD. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation for this position.
