Position TitleLecturer/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor – Abdominal Imaging – Joint Department of Medical ImagingPosition OverviewThe Department of Medical Imaging at Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto, in affiliation with Sinai Health, the University Health Network and Women's College Hospital, is recruiting an Abdominal Radiologist for the Abdominal Division in the Joint Department of Medical Imaging (JDMI). Anticipated start date is September 1, 2026.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret approximately 10,000 radiographs, 70,000 abdominal CT exams, over 14,000 abdominal MRI exams, and more than 95,000 abdominal ultrasound studies annually.Perform roughly 4,000 image‐guided interventions per year.Provide clinical care within a high‐volume, collaborative academic workplace.QualificationsMD or equivalent degree and board certification in diagnostic radiology (RCPSC, ABR, or international organization).Fellowship‐trained Abdominal Radiologist.Strong interest and prior engagement in research and teaching.License or eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.Academic RankEligible for appointment at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, commensurate with qualifications and experience.CompensationUniform average salary for a Radiologist in Ontario, with a range exceeding $300,000 Canadian dollars per annum.Application ProcessQualified candidates should send a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a minimum of three letters of reference to Dr. Heidi Schmidt,
