The facility features acute, residential, and emergency care with diagnostic imaging, laboratory, pharmacy, and ultrasound services. The hospital has five acute care beds, seven continuing care beds, and a 24/7 emergency department. Call schedule is 1-in-3 or 1-in-4 split shifts (11/13 hour shifts during the week, 24-hour shifts on weekends/holidays, no patients booked after a night on call). The community serves about 2,000 individuals, predominantly Heiltsuk Nation.QualificationsAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License – FullCanadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP)Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)Emergency ExperiencePediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)If any of the certifications have expired, CARE certification can replace the expired certification.Other BenefitsMOCAP on call is estimated in the above total — average 1:3 or 1:4 call shifts. REEF ER incentive is in addition to the above amounts at $400 per 24‐hour shift or $200 per 12‐hour shift. After Hours Premium (AHP) is in addition to the above and qualifies for FPE incentive.
