SYSTRA Canada is an engineering and consulting firm whose primary focus is to offer transportation solutions, whether for passengers or goods: feasibility studies of building a new railway line, increasing the capacity of the existing infrastructure, privatization of a railway.ContextThis role will support the SYSTRA Canada team on various projects in Toronto.This role will report to the Head of Planning.ResponsibilitiesImplement the project's planning and delivery strategies.Collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders to identify and optimize sequencing, logistics, and resource allocation.Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to ensure effective planning and staging of activities.Coordinate with various teams to develop schedules, phasing plans, and mitigation measures.Attend planning meetings ensuring effect planning is done to reduce safety, maximise performance of engineering possessions.Monitor and update the project's planning and staging activities based on changing requirements and constraints.QualificationsDegree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Minimum five (10)



years of experience in planning and staging for large infrastructure projects, preferably in the railway industry.Solid knowledge of construction sequencing, logistics planning, and resource management.Familiarity with construction methodologies, safety regulations, and environmental considerations.Excellent communication and problem‐solving skills.Behavioral SkillsMonitors work assignments for adherence to timelines and compliance with policies and processes.Create the environment for successful implementation of processes.Ability to contribute to the establishment of a behavioral charter and capability to drive the agreed behavioral values through MCS and the wider program team.Respectfully listens to others and considers all views presented.Teamwork – balances team and individual responsibilities; gives and welcomes feedback.Puts team success above own interests.SalaryCAD 120,000 - 150,000 annuallySYSTRA Canada is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce.
