Job ResponsibilitiesLead system architecture, requirements development, and subsystem design.Develop technical specifications for AC/DC EV charging systems.Define and manage system requirements, verification plans, and validation testing.Collaborate with hardware, software, and firmware teams throughout product development.Create key systems engineering documentation including requirements, functional specifications, DVT plans, and DFMEA.Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SAE J1772, IEC 61851, ISO 15118, OCPP, UL, and CSA.Support system integration, troubleshooting, and product certification.Required QualificationsMaster's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer, Control Systems, or Engineering Physics.5+ years of Systems Engineering experience in product development.Experience with power electronics, power conversion, or power systems.Background in EV charging,
renewable energy, solar, energy storage, or microgrids.Robust understanding of systems engineering methodologies (V-Model), requirements management, and verification & validation.Experience developing test plans, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.Knowledge of electrical safety and regulatory standards (UL, CSA, NEC/NFPA, SAE, OCPP).Preferred SkillsStrong troubleshooting and systems-level problem-solving abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.Ability to influence technical decisions and present to stakeholders.TravelApproximately 10% domestic and international travel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
